Teaching Informatics

General aspects: Informatics in Education. ICT as a means of knowledge, research and learning in various scientific disciplines. Basic concepts and terminology used in the teaching of Informatics. Teaching topics: traditional teaching approaches, approaches based on modern learning theories, learning disabilities in basic concepts of Informatics, examples of lesson plans and activities. Course structure: teaching models, didactic objectives, expected outcomes, instructional techniques, design of teaching. Assessment: aims and objectives, functions, assessment/evaluation tools, feedback. Teaching problems and teaching interventions in the use of ICT.
